If you link your private or business calendar to connactz, your appointments will automatically be considered as "blockers". How it works: 1. go to your Settings -> Calendar. 2. choose your provider: Google, Outlook or iCloud. 3. follow the instructions in the pop-up to allow access. What happens then? - For you personally, calendar entries of the linked calendars are displayed in full. - Privacy: connactz only reads that you have no time, not what you are doing. Your team only sees a gray bar ("Not available") in the calendar, no details like "Dentist appointment". - Staffing: When you are requested for an event, the system automatically checks whether you have time according to your calendar (important for auto-accept). ### Show appointments in private calendar So that you always know when you are booked, you can transfer your connactz appointments directly to your private calendar app. We use a so-called iCal Feed for this. How to set it up: 1. scroll down to the iCal Feed section under "Calendar". 2. click on the copy symbol next to the link (which starts with webcal://).
Paste link in your calendar: Now use this link to subscribe to the calendar in your app: - Google Calendar: - Open Google Calendar in the browser - Click on the Plus (+) next to "Other calendars" on the left - Select "By URL ".
- Paste the copied link and click on "Add Calendar" - **Apple Calendar (Mac/iPhone):** - Go to **File** -> **New Calendar Subscription** - Paste the link and click on "Subscribe" - **Outlook:** - Go to "Add Calendar" -> **"Subscribe from the Internet "** - Paste the link and import it **The result:** Your connactz appointments are now automatically synchronized. If a time changes in connactz, your private calendar will also be updated (the frequency depends on your provider, usually every few hours).
